Jeremie Legault

Jeremie Legault’s musical journey began at the age of six, when he discovered his passion for music through the violin and singing in the church choir, both in English and French. At just ten years old, he wrote his first song as a way of coping with his mother’s cancer diagnosis, laying the foundation for a songwriting style rooted in optimism in the face of adversity. By twelve, Jeremie had immersed himself in rock music, joining bands and producing his own tracks. In high school, he expanded his musical repertoire, learning the trombone and performing in concert and jazz bands, while also taking the stage as a singer and frontman at talent shows and battle of the bands competitions.

Throughout his twenties, Jeremie continued to refine his craft and captivate audiences on stages across Montreal. He explored a variety of musical projects, including Paisley Wilde, Velvet, and Condor Matador. The latter proved especially formative, teaching him the ins and outs of publicity, branding, and social media. Through the Condor Matador Instagram account, Jeremie built a strong following over three and a half years, amassing hundreds of thousands of story views, tens of thousands of Spotify streams, and widespread engagement across reels. He also demonstrated his creative versatility by producing, directing, and editing two music videos, “Echoes” and “The 90’s Song,” the latter featuring Montreal Symphony Orchestra Concertmaster Andrew Wang.

Following a fortuitous encounter with Nidal and Burton White, the accomplished producers behind Resort 46, Jeremie decided to rebrand and begin releasing music under his own name. This collaboration marked a new chapter and brought together a shared dedication to songwriting, resulting in what Jeremie considers his strongest material to date. His debut single under this new direction, “Tell Rita,” introduced audiences to this evolution and set the tone for what followed.

The momentum has only continued to build. His EP Yes, And... was released on April 20, 2024, alongside the acclaimed music video for “Bow Chicka WOW.” During the summer of 2024, Jeremie also produced two tracks for Alexa Blaise. While still unreleased, these sessions rekindled his engineering and production partnership with Derek Orsi and Dave Traina, who had previously worked on Condor Matador’s EP Farewell, Metal Cowboy. Jeremie later reunited with Massimo Cannucci to record and release “Can’t Keep Coming” by Condor Matador, produced by Derek Orsi and mixed and mastered by The Damn Truth’s Dave Traina. The track was released on October 31, 2025. A follow-up single, “Cheap Wine & Hand Rolled Cigarettes,” is set for release in early June 2026.

Jeremie is not slowing down. He continues to evolve as an artist and songwriter, committed to creating music that resonates, uplifts, and connects. Stay tuned as he continues to carve out his place in the world of pop rock.
